Privacy Policy

Adams Harris Consulting | adamsharrisconsulting.com

Last Updated: October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Adams Harris Consulting, LLC, a California limited liability company ("AHC," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares visitor, user, or customer ("user," "users," "you," or "your") personal information when you use our website at adamsharrisconsulting.com and any of our subdomains (the "Website").

We work with parents and families. Students are the beneficiaries of our work, and we do not provide services directly to students. That shapes what we collect, and it is described in the Children's Data section below.

Topics Covered

Notice at Collection of Personal Information

We collect the following categories of personal information about California residents:

  • Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, IP address, account login).

  • Customer records (e.g., phone number, billing address, payment information processed by our payment provider).

  • Audio, visual, or similar information (photos and video taken at events we host, as described in our Terms and Conditions of Use). We use them to share and promote our events and programs, and we keep them for as long as they are published and in our archive after that.

  • Commercial information (products or services purchased, usage history).

  • Internet or other electronic network activity (browsing on our Website, interactions with our marketing emails and SMS, AI Chatbot transcripts, when available).

  • Geolocation data (general, derived from IP address).

  • Limited information about your student, specifically grade level. We do not collect your student's name, initials, date of birth, school, test scores, or any other identifying detail through this Website.

  • Inferences drawn from the above (preferences, propensities, behavior).

We collect this information from you directly, automatically through cookies and analytics tools, and from third parties such as our marketing platforms and payment processors. We use it to provide and improve our Website and Services, communicate with you, secure our systems, comply with law, and (with your consent where required) market to you. We retain each category only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, plus any period required for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what is incidental to providing our Services.

Personal Information We Collect

Information collected automatically (Device Information)

When you visit the Website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. As you browse the Website, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Website, and information about how you interact with the Website. We refer to this automatically collected information as "Device Information."

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org.

  • "Log files" track actions occurring on the Website, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

  • "Web beacons," "tags," and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse a website. We describe them here because they are the technologies this Policy governs, not because all of them are in use. The Cookie Policy lists what is actually deployed on this Website as of its Last Updated date.

We use Device Information for:

  • Functionality: to recognize you on our Website and recognize your previously selected preferences, including your preferred language and your location.

  • Analytics: to understand in aggregate how visitors find and use the Website, so that we can improve it.

  • Security: to detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.

We do not currently use Device Information for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not disclose Device Information to advertising platforms. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and our Notice at Collection before the change takes effect, and any advertising technology will be gated behind your choice in our cookie consent tool.

Affiliate tracking. We may in the future operate an affiliate program, in which case we would use Device Information to record which affiliate referred you, for the purpose of paying that affiliate a commission if you purchase from us. No affiliate program is currently in operation.

You can set your browser not to accept cookies, and the website above tells you how to remove cookies from your browser. Some Website features may not function if you disable cookies. Global Privacy Control ("GPC") is a browser signal asking a website not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, and our Website does not use analytics cookies or advertising technologies unless you turn them on in our cookie consent tool, so our Website does not currently read GPC signals. We also do not currently alter our practices in response to Do Not Track signals. If we ever begin sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we will honor GPC signals as a valid request to opt out before that activity begins.

Information you provide to us (Provided Information)

We also collect data you provide to us directly. We refer to the data you provide as "Provided Information." We collect and process Provided Information when you:

  • Fill out our contact form to express interest or request more information about our products or services;

  • Book a call or appointment with us, whether through a form on our Website or through a third-party scheduling tool;

  • Register for an account on our Website, including a membership or community account;

  • Place an order for any of our products, Resources, or Services;

  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback through our Website, by email, or in any community feature;

  • Provide your email address in exchange for access to a free or paid Resource;

  • Sign up for our email newsletter or subscribe to any of our regular content;

  • Register for an event we host;

  • Submit an intake form or application form for any of our Services or programs.

The Provided Information we collect may include:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.);

  • Billing information (billing address, payment information processed by our payment provider, etc.);

  • Your student's grade level, which we use to send you information that matches where your family is in the process;

  • Event registration, attendance, and check-in information, and photos or video taken at events we host;

  • Organization information (school or organization name and contact details), where you contact us about our institutional services.

When we use the term "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to both Device Information and Provided Information.

Information we receive from third parties

We may also receive Personal Information from third parties, including:

  • Business partners, sub-contractors, service providers, referral partners, and similar third parties connected to you or dealing with us;

  • Payment processors that share Personal Information with us in the course of payment operations;

  • Third-party tools we use to collect information from you, such as form tools, event registration platforms, and scheduling software;

  • Other entities that we collaborate with.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use Personal Information to:

  • Provide, deliver, and support the Website, the Services, and any Resource you request;

  • Communicate with you about your account, our Services, customer support, and your purchases;

  • Send you information matched to your student's grade level and stage in the admissions process;

  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents;

  • Measure and improve our Website, Services, and marketing;

  • Send marketing communications consistent with your preferences and applicable law;

  • Register you for events, check you in, and share and promote our events and programs, including with photos and video taken at events we host;

  • Track affiliate referrals to grant commissions to our affiliate partners, if and when we operate an affiliate program; and

  • Comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

How We Share Your Personal Information

We may share Personal Information with trusted third parties in connection with the activities described above. Categories of recipients include:

  • Payment processors engaged by us to securely store and handle payment information;

  • Providers of email management and distribution tools;

  • Providers of SMS and text messaging delivery services;

  • Providers of security and fraud-prevention tools and services;

  • Providers of consent-management tools that record the cookie choices you make in our consent banner;

  • Providers of error-monitoring tools, including tools our website platform uses, that detect and report technical faults;

  • Providers of data aggregation and analytics software that allow us to monitor and optimize our Website;

  • Providers of affiliate-marketing tracking and analytics software that allow us to grant commissions to our affiliates;

  • Providers of client-management systems to help us track and communicate with families and prospective clients;

  • Contractors who administer our website, client-management, and messaging systems on our behalf;

  • Providers of community, membership, and course-hosting platforms;

  • Providers of scheduling and videoconferencing services to help us schedule and conduct meetings;

  • Social media platforms, where we publish selected photos and video taken at events we host;

  • Providers of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing services that power our AI Features, which we describe by category rather than by name for the reasons given in the Artificial Intelligence Technology section below.

We do not share your student's grade level, or any other information about your student, with advertising platforms or for any advertising purpose.

Strategic partners, and only when you ask. We maintain relationships with a small number of strategic partners, which may include test-preparation providers, financial aid specialists, essay coaches, mental-health and wellness practitioners, and community organizations. We do not give your Personal Information to any of them as a matter of course. If you ask us for an introduction or a referral, or if we suggest one and you tell us to proceed, we will share only what the introduction requires, which is typically your name and your email address. If you do not ask, and do not agree, we share nothing.

We neither pay nor accept any referral fee, commission, revenue share, finder's fee, or other compensation in connection with these introductions. We make them because we believe the partner can help your family, and for no other reason.

We may share Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information, or to protect our rights and the rights of others. We may also share Personal Information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do disclose personal information to the service providers and contractors described in "How We Share Your Personal Information" above, so that they can perform services on our behalf. Those disclosures are made for business purposes, under contracts that restrict what the recipient may do with the information, and they are not sales.

California's privacy law defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly. Those terms include disclosures of personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money changes hands.

We do not sell your Personal Information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our Website does not currently run third-party advertising pixels or tags.

Introductions to strategic partners. Because California's definition of "sale" reaches disclosures made for valuable consideration of any kind, and not only for money, we have designed our partner introductions to sit outside that definition entirely. We make an introduction only when you have asked for one or have agreed to one, we disclose only what that introduction requires, and we neither pay nor receive any referral fee, commission, revenue share, or other consideration for it. A disclosure that you have specifically asked us to make, and for which we receive nothing, is not a sale.

If we begin advertising. We may in the future use advertising and conversion-measurement technologies to promote our events, programs, and Resources. If we do, and if the technology involves disclosing personal information to an advertising platform in a way that constitutes "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising:

  • we will update this Privacy Policy and our Notice at Collection before the technology goes live, not after;

  • the categories table below will be updated to show which categories are shared and with whom;

  • the tool will be listed in our Cookie Policy;

  • we will place a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on the Website;

  • we will honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out request before the technology goes live; and

  • the technology will be gated behind your choice in our cookie consent tool, so that it does not operate unless you have consented to advertising cookies.

You may also opt out at any time by emailing us at info@adamsharrisconsulting.com.

Regardless of any future change, we will not share information about your student, including grade level, with advertising platforms.

How We Store Your Data and Retention

We may process and store your data using the following third-party providers: Wix, GoHighLevel, Stripe, Google Workspace, Usercentrics (consent management), and, through our website platform, Sentry (error monitoring). Please visit those providers' websites for information on the physical location of their servers.

We use commercially reasonable security measures, including encryption via Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") Technology, to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of any information that may be stored or processed. Of course, no computer network or data transmission on the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so you submit your information at your own risk.

We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our Website and Services, maintain accurate records, resolve disputes, comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory obligations, and enforce our agreements. Where it is not reasonably possible to specify a single retention period, we use the following criteria: the nature and sensitivity of the data, the purposes for which it is processed, the duration of our relationship with you, and any applicable statutory limitations periods. When we no longer have a lawful basis or business need to retain data, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion at any time as described below.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your Personal Information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required under applicable state and federal law.

Sensitive Personal Information

We do not knowingly collect or use sensitive personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide our Services (for example, payment information processed solely by our payment provider). We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted under California law, which means we are not required to offer a separate "Right to Limit" mechanism. We nonetheless honor a request to limit the use of sensitive personal information. Email info@adamsharrisconsulting.com and we will act on it. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you.

Children's Data

Our Website is intended for users 18 and older. Our Services are provided to parents and families, not directly to students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). Consistent with California law, we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without the affirmative consent required by law.

What we collect about your student. Through this Website we collect one piece of information about your student: grade level. We use it to send you information that matches where your family is in the admissions process. We do not collect your student's name, initials, date of birth, school, test scores, grades, or any other identifying detail through this Website, and we do not contact students directly. At events we host, we do not publish identifiable photos or video of anyone who appears to be a student.

If you become a client under a separate written services agreement, we will need your student's first name in order to do the work. That collection is governed by your services agreement, not by this Privacy Policy.

Grade level, standing alone, does not identify anyone. Because we store it alongside your own contact information, it relates to your household and we therefore treat it as personal information and disclose it here. We do not describe it as anonymous.

If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, please email info@adamsharrisconsulting.com and we will promptly delete the information.

Email Marketing

If you make a purchase on this Website, download a free or paid Resource in exchange for your email address, submit our contact form, or opt in to receive emails, you agree to receive email communications from us, including newsletters, site updates, promotions, product or service updates, and other announcements and correspondence. You are responsible for ensuring that our email addresses are not blocked or forwarded to your spam folder.

You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any of our marketing emails or by emailing info@adamsharrisconsulting.com. If you opt out of marketing emails, you understand that you may no longer receive promotional information or updates from us.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on your device by your browser. This Website sets cookies. Please visit our Cookie Policy to learn more about what cookies we set, why we set them, and how to change your cookie settings.

Analytics Programs

Our Website uses, or may use, the analytics services described below to understand how visitors interact with the Website.

Our Website uses or may use Wix Analytics to track and analyze your interactions with our Website. This means that Wix Analytics and Wix.com Ltd. may collect your personal information such as your IP address, device identifier, and online identifier, and may place cookies on your device to determine and analyze how you interact with our Website. You can learn more about the personal information that Wix Analytics collects by viewing their Privacy Policy. Wix Analytics runs only if you allow analytics cookies in our cookie consent banner, and you can change that choice at any time through the consent tool available on every page of the Website.

Mobile Application Information

Some of our Services may be accessed through a third-party mobile application. If you choose to use it, the application may request permissions such as access to certain features on your device, including your camera, photo library, storage, and notification settings. These permissions are optional and are collected only if you grant them. We may also send you push notifications regarding your account, your membership, or community activity. You can change or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device settings.

Artificial Intelligence Technology

Our Website may include artificial intelligence features and tools ("AI Features"). These include our "AI Chatbot," a text and/or voice assistant that, when available, you can interact with on the Website to ask questions and receive information about our products and services, and "AI Agents," which are AI-powered tools we use to perform or automate tasks. We also use AI Agents behind the scenes; you do not interact with them directly. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding our use of AI Features:

1. Nature of AI Interaction. When available, our AI Chatbot is presented to you on the Website as our "automated assistant," and that is the term you will see when it introduces itself. When you interact with it, you are communicating with an automated system powered by artificial intelligence, not a human representative. We always identify when you are interacting with our AI Chatbot rather than a human representative. Our AI Chatbot is designed to provide helpful, accurate information, but as with any AI technology, there are inherent limitations.

2. AI Data Collection and Processing. Our AI Chatbot may collect and process the information you provide during interactions, including but not limited to your inquiries, preferences, and feedback. This information is subject to the same privacy protections outlined elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. Additionally:

  • Conversations with our AI Chatbot may be stored and analyzed to improve the quality and accuracy of our AI systems.

  • We may use anonymized conversations to train and enhance our AI Features' capabilities.

  • You can request deletion of your conversation history with our AI Chatbot by contacting info@adamsharrisconsulting.com.

3. AI Content Generation. Our AI Features may generate content in response to your queries. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not always reflect our official position or views.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

  • AHC reserves the right to review, modify, or remove any AI-generated content at our discretion.

4. Chatbot Disclosure. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we disclose that our AI Chatbot is an automated system (a chatbot), and this disclosure is clear, conspicuous, and made at the beginning of any conversation or interaction. By interacting with the AI Chatbot, you understand that the conversation may include any information you choose to share, for example, your name, email address, questions about the admissions process, and the content of your messages, and that this information will be processed by us and by the AI service provider that powers the AI Chatbot, whose terms govern how that provider handles data it receives.

We use AI Chatbot conversations to (a) provide the assistance you have requested, (b) improve the accuracy and helpfulness of our AI Chatbot over time, (c) understand common questions so we can improve our Website and Services, and (d) follow up with you if you have asked us to.

Please do not share sensitive personal information with the AI Chatbot, including financial account credentials, government identifiers, health information, information about your student beyond grade level, or any information you would not want stored. The AI Chatbot is not a secure channel for confidential discussions. If your matter involves sensitive information, contact us directly at info@adamsharrisconsulting.com.

5. AI Chatbot Opt-Out. You may opt out of interacting with our AI Chatbot at any time by requesting to speak with a person, or by using the opt-out mechanisms provided within the communication channel you are using. If a member of our team is available, we will connect you. If no one is available at that moment, we will offer to take a message, to send you a link to schedule a call, or to point you to the pages that answer your question, and a person will follow up. Please note that opting out of AI interactions may limit the availability or timeliness of certain services.

6. AI Service Providers. Our AI Features are powered by one or more third-party providers of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing services. We describe these providers by category rather than by name, because the providers we use may change over time and a policy that names a specific vendor becomes inaccurate the moment that vendor changes. Describing them categorically lets us keep this Privacy Policy accurate.

You may ask us at any time which providers currently power our AI Features, and we will tell you. Email info@adamsharrisconsulting.com and we will identify them.

Whichever provider we use, information you share with our AI Features is processed by that provider under its own terms, and we take a provider's data-handling and data-retention terms into account when we select it.

7. How We Use AI With Your Contact Information. We use AI Agents with the information in our client-management system, including your name, contact details, your student's grade level, and your messages with us, to (a) draft follow-up emails and text messages, (b) summarize conversations and notes for our team, and (c) tag and organize contact records, for example by your interests or your student's grade level. A member of our team reviews every AI-drafted email and text message before it is sent to you. Replies from our automated assistant, which identifies itself as automated, are sent without that review. We do not use AI to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects. The AI service providers described in item 6 perform this processing on our behalf.

SMS and Text Message Privacy

If you have opted in to receive SMS or text messages from us, you consent to receive from AHC the type or types of messages you opted in to receive. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We are committed to protecting your privacy regarding these communications as follows:

  • No Data Sharing. All text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers necessary to deliver the SMS service.

  • Marketing Restrictions. Your mobile information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

  • Limited Use. Your SMS opt-in data will only be used to send the types of messages described in the SMS section of our Terms and Conditions of Use, for each consent you gave.

  • Opt-Out Control. You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message from us, or by texting "STOP" to 415-484-3997, the number our messages originate from. Upon doing so, we will confirm your opt-out status via SMS and will cease sending you text messages. Replying "STOP" stops all text messages from us, both marketing and non-marketing. If you want to stop only marketing texts and keep receiving appointment reminders and other non-marketing messages, email us at info@adamsharrisconsulting.com and we will withdraw your marketing consent only. To resume text messages after replying "STOP", reply "START". Users can also reply by texting the word "HELP" for assistance.

For more information, see the SMS and Text Message ("SMS") Communications section of our Terms and Conditions of Use.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under California privacy law:

  • Right to Know what personal information we have collected about you, including the categories of information, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

  • Right to Access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the preceding 12 months.

  • Right to Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Right to Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

  • Right to Opt Out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, as those terms are defined under California law. We do not currently sell or share personal information. To exercise this right in any event, email us at info@adamsharrisconsulting.com.

  • Right to Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Services you have requested. We do not currently use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by California law without consent.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising any of the above rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your privacy rights.

Your Privacy Rights

Residents of other US states may have additional rights under their state's privacy laws; to inquire, contact us at info@adamsharrisconsulting.com and we will respond consistent with applicable law. These rights may include the following:

  • The Right to Update or Change any information you have provided to us.

  • The Right to Request that We Confirm what data we hold about you and for what purposes, including whether we process your data or share it with third-party processors.

  • The Right to Change Your Consent to our use of your personal information. Withdrawing consent for marketing communications does not affect your account or your access to anything you have purchased. If you withdraw consent for processing that is necessary to operate your account, we will tell you plainly what we can no longer provide before anything changes.

  • The Right to Request a Digital Copy of the personal information we hold about you. We provide this free of charge. Where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly because it is repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline to act, and we will tell you why.

  • The Right to Request a Transfer of the personal information we hold about you to another provider, where technically feasible.

  • The Right to Request That We Restrict the processing of your personal information. In addition, you may opt out of any processing of your personal information altogether. Note, however, that doing so may result in the termination of your account and loss of access to our website.

  • The Right to Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. Such a request may result in a termination of your account with us and you may have limited to no use of our website.

  • The Right to Lodge a Complaint regarding our collection, sharing, and processing of your personal information with competent authorities in the proper jurisdiction.

  • The Right to Lodge a Complaint regarding our collection, sharing, and processing of your information with us.

  • The Right to Opt Out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, as those terms are defined under applicable law. To exercise this right, email us at info@adamsharrisconsulting.com.

  • The Right to Opt Out of receiving future marketing emails from us. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or change your communication settings by contacting us at info@adamsharrisconsulting.com.

  • The Right to Opt Out of receiving any third-party marketing communications or having your personal information used for marketing purposes, including direct marketing.

  • The Right to Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Services you have requested. We do not currently use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by applicable law without consent.

  • The Right Not to Be Discriminated Against based upon your exercise of your privacy rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your privacy rights.

Exercising Your Rights

You may exercise the rights specified above by submitting a consumer request to:

Nancy Adams
Co-Founder
Adams Harris Consulting, LLC
2021 Fillmore St., Ste 2167
San Francisco, California 94115
Email: info@adamsharrisconsulting.com

You can opt out of us tracking your location by adjusting the settings on your browser or device.

We will need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will ask only for what is necessary to match your request to the information we actually hold, which in most cases is:

  • the email address you used with us; and

  • your name.

If you have made a purchase, we may also ask for the billing postal code or the approximate date of purchase. If you have never purchased from us, we will not ask you for billing information, because we do not hold any.

We may be unable to process your request if we cannot reasonably verify that it comes from you. If that happens, we will tell you what we were unable to confirm.

We will respond to most consumer requests within 30 to 45 days of receipt. However, some requests may take longer. We will notify you in writing if we need more time to respond. We have the ability to deny your request if certain exceptions in the law apply. If we do deny your request, we will provide you with the reasons for such denial.

Notice of Financial Incentive

From time to time, we may offer programs that California law treats as financial-incentive programs, for example by providing access to a free Resource (such as a downloadable guide, timeline, or mindset map) in exchange for your email address or other contact information.

What we collect and why. If you choose to participate, the data we collect typically consists of your name, email address, your student's grade level, and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information to deliver the Resource you requested and to add you to our email list, from which you can unsubscribe at any time.

How to opt in, and how to withdraw. You may opt in by submitting the form associated with the Resource. You may withdraw at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or by emailing info@adamsharrisconsulting.com. Withdrawing does not require you to return or delete any Resource you have already received, and it carries no penalty.

Good-faith estimate of value, and the method we used. We estimate the value to us of the personal information collected through our current free Resource, the Calm & Confident Mindset Map, to be approximately $2 per participant, based on our out-of-pocket costs and the number of people who received it from January 2025 through September 30, 2026.

We calculated that estimate using an expense-based method. We took the total cost of creating, hosting, and delivering the free Resource, together with the cost of the email and customer-relationship tools used to deliver it and to maintain the resulting contact record, across a representative period. We divided that total by the number of people who received the Resource during that period. That per-person figure is our good-faith estimate of the value of the data to us.

We did not calculate value by reference to projected future revenue. Most people who download a free Resource never become paying clients, and we do not believe a revenue-based projection would produce an honest estimate.

Why the exchange is reasonably related. The Resource you receive is a finished, usable product that we spent time and money to produce, and it is provided to you at no charge and with no obligation. We have determined in good faith that its value to you is reasonably related to the value of the data we collect, calculated as described above.
